Dotcast chooses Harris; Ensemble moves to Danish market

Dotcast Digital Network will use Harris as its preferred manufacturer and system integrator. Harris will manufacture, install and maintain Dotcast's edge servers that make it possible to insert digital content into over-the-air-local television signals. Additionally, Harris will provide television transmitter technology for technical and market trials to be conducted by Dotcast this year.

butlerNetworks A/S will use Ensemble Communications' point-to-multipoint fixed wireless technology to offer high bandwidth services over its licensed 26 GHz spectrum throughout Denmark. Ensemble will supply a base station, customer premise equipment and a network management system to the Copenhagen-based carrier for a nationwide rollout that has already started.
