Digital loop carrier
TLC-48 is a universal, general-purpose digital loop carrier system. The system supports POTS and special services, including digital data system, ISDN and CLASS. Up to 12-to-1 pair gain is provided. It consists of a CO terminal and remote terminal and cabinet. Each TLC-48 has a 48-channel capacity and supports two DS-1 links. Both TR-08 and D4 protocols are supported.
