Compact mainframe OTDR
The MTS 5200, a mainframe optical time domain reflectometer is designed for users whose fiber testing needs exceed those available in mini-OTDRs. The unit provides all the test and measurement features of a traditional mainframe OTDR and weighs 5.5 kg. It accepts up to two field-interchangable optical modules enabling network installers and maintainers to test any type of fiber. Users can choose from 13 different plug-in OTDR modules. The unit can perform a real-time sweep in 250 msec. Wavetek Corp.
