Cisco announces two GUIs
Cisco Systems released two new GUIs with reporting, monitoring and management tools: the Cisco PIX Device Manager (PDM) for Cisco's PIX Firewall family and the Cisco VPN Device Manager (VDM) for Cisco's VPN-enabled routers. The PDM and the VDM classify and set security rules for PIX firewalls and for the Cisco 7100 VPN and 7300 multiservice routers, respectively.
