Channelized access solution
The Eclipse RISC processor-based DS-3 channelized access solution integrates an M13 multiplexer, including a DS-3 framer with full C-bit functionality to support clear-channel DS-3; a 28-channel DS-1 framer; a 28-channel DS-1 cross-connect; a 672-channel DS-0 cross-connect for grooming, concentration, switching and multiplexing; and a MVIP and H.100/H.110 interface. The RISC processor handles network management elements such as device initialization, configuration, alarm detection and propagation. It also handles facility data link, performance monitoring and reporting and maintenance/diagnostics such as loopbacks and PRBS generation. It costs $148 in 1000-unit quantities. TranSwitch
