BellSouth pays up

With a little legal help, US LEC has managed to get $10 million from BellSouth for reciprocal compensation fees from 2000 and 2001. The $10 million is a partial payment for the fees. US LEC's President Aaron Cowell said in a released statement that he was “pleased BellSouth has begun to meet its contractual obligations.”
