ADELPHIA SETS SITES ON CABLE
Adelphia Communications has signed agreements to acquire two small cable operators - Georgia-based Prestige Cable TV, with 175,000 subscribers, and Missouri-based Galaxy Cablevision, which has 140,000 subscribers in the Midwest and Southeast. Adelphia recently agreed to buy the Cleveland operations of Cablevision Systems for $1.5 billion.
