The new capability enables services such as video ringback and multimedia content playback including video clips featuring music, celebrity news and other content.
“Telenity’s Canvas solution is IMS compatible supporting next generation SIP standard architecture that enables convergence of voice, video and data. We are excited to add Video as it brings a new breadth to content, messaging and location-based services allowing for rich user experience, personalization and as a result increased revenues to our customers,” said Nitin Patel, Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Telenity, in a prepared statement. “The expanded bandwidth of 3G networks, combined with the growing market for video-enabled mobile devices and standards-based video telephony, allows operators the opportunity to offer rich multimedia content services to their subscriber base.”
The Canvas CoolRing supports Web, WAP, SMS and Interactive Video Portal Interfaces, the company said. Third-party content can be integrated into elenity’s content management platform to give operators the ability to independently manage multiple content providers in a secure fashion.
