My colleague Sarah Reedy and I are going through our notes, and we’ve started putting up post-show stories on some of the more interesting things we learned this year. Sarah already has submitted a piece on the rebirth of Symbian and the challenges it faces in regaining its cache among mobile handset-makers and app developers seemingly so enthralled with Apple. Also online is a piece on Samsung’s efforts in the U.S. WiMAX market beyond just the handset and laptop announcements we see on the wires.
Over the next week we’ll be posting plenty more, ranging from an update on AT&T’s 3G network to the philosophical shift vendors have adopted in their approach to the network core. We’ll be posting these stories in TelephonyOnline’s regular news and feature sections, but as many of you have been following our CTIA coverage on our CTIA Blog Live (a few of you are even following the blog through Twitter), we’ll update the blog roll with summaries and links.
In the meantime, I’d like to hear what you thought of CTIA Wireless. What did you learn; what did you like; and what do you want changed? Is the falling attendance solely attributable to the recession or does the show have bigger problems? I look forward to hearing from you.
