The initial service bundle targets customers who already buy SBC local phone service and AT&T long-distance, offering significant discounts on DSL, DISH satellite TV and Cingular Wireless services.

"In the past, these AT&T customers didn't qualify for the discounts," said an AT&T spokeswoman. "Now, they will. This is the first of the bundled discounts that are avaailable to AT&T customers."

Eligible customers must also buy advanced calling features from SBC, such as Caller ID.

The discounts include $16.99 basic DSL service and $21.99 a month for 3 Megabit DSL service -- the promotional discount prices offered to new online customers. Customers can save $4 a month on SBC/DISH America's Top 120 satellite TV service and $5 a month on Cingular Wireless service.
