WTG acquires Willtek
Test and measurement firm Wireless Telecom Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Willtek Communications, a fellow test vendor serving the wireless industry, in a cash and stock transaction.

Cyrille Damany, CEO of privately-held Willtek, will become CEO of the combined entity. The deal has to be approved by WTG’s shareholders, and is expected to close before March of 2005, the companies said in a statement.
Willtek, based near Munich, Germany, was created just two years ago from a buy-out of Acterna’s wireless test instruments business.
