Telcordia, Atreus in partnership

Telcordia Technologies and Atreus Systems announced a partnership to deliver management solutions for advanced IP services.

As part of a wide ranging partnership, the companies will offer a portfolio of IP management software including a modeling environment used to define and deploy services.

At the nuts-and-bolts level, the companies will give carriers a service library from which they can develop management applications. The portfolio will include support for a variety of customer self-service capabilities including ordering, SLA monitoring, and automated service fulfillment for inventory, configuration, and activation.

“It’s all about cutting operational expenses, said Brenda Toonders, director of product marketing at Atreus. “There’s nothing stopping us from using this in any service.”
