While DT Intrinsic has traditionally focused on the areas of service provisioning, system maintenance and implementation, under current CEO and executive director Greg Shen the company has expanded into the value-added WAP and 2.5G services market. According to SmartPay, the absorption of DT Intrinsic’s platform not only positions the company to pursue wireless billing, systems integration and service management clients, but also showcase its payment services as a means to enhance 2.5G services.

The expanded SmartPay counts about 150 staff members. Headquartered in Shanghai, the company also has nine regional offices, including sites in Beijing and Guangdong.
