Promising service providers and enterprise customers real-time, on-demand diagnostic information generated directly from a user's computer, the Web-based NetAgent software enables identification of bottlenecks, packet loss, equipment failure and other network issues. NetAgent also allows users to contact their provider's technical support staff and download solutions to these issues on the spot, eliminating the wait for on-site technical support staff testing and problem-solving.

"The real value is that we help providers deploy their services, we make consumers happy and we anticipate problems," said QoSmetrics chairman Yves Cognet.

Founded in 199 and headquartered in Massy, France, QoSmetrics has previously announced partnerships with France Telecom, Alcatel and Philips. In addition to NetAgent, its product portfolio includes the NetAdvisor centralized monitoring system and the NetWarrior hardware probe line.
