Telephony Announces New Regional Sales Manager
Teresa Novak joins Telephony as West Coast Sales Manager
April 3, 2006 (Chicago, IL) -- Telephony magazine, the leading business-to-business publication for telecommunications service providers, is pleased to introduce Teresa Novak as the new Western regional sales manager. She joins Telephony after most recently working as an independent marketing and sales consultant within the high-tech industry. Novak has worked in the telecom industry since 1993, holding marketing positions within leading telecom equipment manufacturers such as Tellabs (formerly AFC) and Alcatel.
Novak is responsible for the West Coast territory for Telephony online and Telephony magazine, including Wireless Review (a technology-focused, eight-time yearly supplement examining critical wireless industry topics) and The INDEPENDENT (a six-time yearly supplement written for independent service providers that examines deployment strategies, operational practices and business trends). Novak brings more than 13 years of industry experience to her new role and is positioned to help leading telecom and high-tech companies achieve their marketing goals through online, print and event media.
"Novak’s agency and telecom vendor background make her an excellent marketing resource for Telephony clients,” said Mark Hickey, publisher of Telephony. “We're extremely pleased to have her extensive industry knowledge and experience available for our West Coast customers."
Novak began her career in communications on the agency side, holding account supervisory roles within leading communications agencies in Texas. Novak has worked for telecom companies in global network equipment manufacturing, including voice switching, data and multi-service switching, transport, access, optical componentry, etc. While at Tellabs, Novak lead re-branding initiatives and marketing communications efforts, addressing both internal and external audiences.
