Terabeam taps new COO
Broadband wireless solutions provider Terabeam Wireless has announced the appointment of Thomas Bennett as its president and chief operating officer.

A 20-year telecom veteran, Bennett previously held senior management, operations and engineering positions with firms including GTE Government Systems Corporation, Advanced Radio Telecom and Maxlink Communications.
Falls Church, Va.-based Terabeam merged with rival broadband wireless vendor YDI Wireless in an all-stock transaction announced this past April. In November, YDI and antenna designer/manufacturer Phazar Corp. mutually agreed to terminate a planned merger.
