Additionally, the company said that FairPoint Communications, the Charlotte, N.C.-based ILEC has selected its BLC 6000 System to deliver triple-play services.
The Fairpoint win builds on what has so far been one of the most significant contract announcements, with SureWest Communications selecting Occam as its access vendor for its video service.
Second quarter revenue was impacted significantly by the transition from the company’s previous access platform, said Bob Howard-Anderson, CEO of Occam.
And though the company isn’t providing any guidance, Howard-Anderson said the next several months would be key.
“Q3 will be our real test to see if we can grow revenues,” he said.
The company is currently in, or has scheduled, 30 different telco trials for its BLC 6000.
