Though the two companies won’t be packaging their products together, New Edge has agreed to recommend Airpath’s back office management solutions to its prospective Wi-Fi hot spot customers, and Airpath will recommend New Edge’s SDSL and other broadband services to link hot spots to the public Internet.

“Together with Airpath, New Edge Networks can offer our respective customers a one-stop solution,” said Dan Moffat, president and CEO of New Edge.

Currently, Airpath provides billing, authorization and provisioning services and manages roaming for 1800 free and paid hot spots owned by more than 350 providers. New Edge has SDSL services in 850 central offices spread throughout U.S. small and mid-sized markets.
