Bay Packets launches partner program
BayPackets today announced a partnership program aimed at giving carriers a package of voice applications to go with the company’s Agility Network Services Platform.

CosmoCom, Spectel and Sylantro Systems also have been announced as the first Agility Alliance Partners. Sylantro Systems will provide its IP Centrex and Hosted-PBX application; Spectel will combine its conferencing platform and application with BayPacket’s platform; and CosmoCom will integrate its hosted contact center platform.
"The concern for service providers is if they have a number of point solutions, that’s a lot of extra operating expense," said Amol Joshi vice president of marketing for BayPackets, explaining why the company decided to take on a partnership program. "So we started looking around and went to our customers’ customer and asked what they wanted."
Through the program, partners get the tools to develop new applications or port existing ones to the Agility NSP. The program also sets out parameters for the vendors to promote, develop and market bundled solutions.
