ICG takes on metro Ethernet
ICG Communications has launched a new metro Ethernet service in parts of Colorado and Ohio, the company announced today.

The service is available to more than 300 buildings in Colorado and more than 200 in Ohio that are on ICG’s existing network. ICG is offering point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations in speeds ranging from 10Mb/s to 1 Gb/s.
The company claims more than a dozen Colorado customers already subscribe to the service.
Earlier this year, ICG sold several of its assets in Texas and Southeastern markets, leaving it in just eight cities: Akron, Ohio; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Columbus; Dayton; Denver; Colorado Springs, Colo. and Boulder, Colo.
