“This new product offering allows us to provide our valued, long-time customers cutting-edge Internet speeds similar to what we offer our fiber network customers in the greater Sacramento region,” said Steve Oldham, SureWest's president and chief executive officer, in a prepared statement. “Though we are in the early stages of a fundamental upgrade of our existing fiber network in the Roseville area, most of our DSL customers can receive immediate benefits from purchasing these new 6 and 10 megabit products. These blazingly fast Internet speeds will keep us best in class in Roseville by offering choices to those customers looking for more bandwidth and speed. We are constantly looking for ways to provide superior services to our customers. We expect our Roseville customers to be very excited and respond well to these products.”
The 6 Mb/s service will cost $42.95 a month and the 10 Mb/s product will cost $49.95. Both services come with free Web portal access for anywhere email, up to six email accounts and personal Web space.
