Equipment market increases because of IPTV
IPTV's impact on the the telecom vendor community won't be felt as far and wide as some are expecting, according to a new report from Dittberner Associates. Based on a projection of 53 million subscribers in 2013, the company is forecasting an incremental growth of only $336 million in spending with most of that going to the backbone equipment vendors.
